TAG Technic's infoStation kiosk provides accommodation for touch screen applications that utilise standard hardware. Touch screens are no longer prohibitively expensive, and boast far greater accuracy and reliability than earlier incarnations. With applications able to be developed and run on standard PCs, the cost of such a system is now affordable even for small organisations. The only barrier has remained the absence of an affordable kiosk that would support off-the-shelf hardware in a stylish enclosure suitable for customer-facing applications.
The infoStation kiosk merges stylish design with the functionality and flexibility required to store a multitude of standard equipment. All this for less than the price of the hardware it houses. The infoStation can be used for a number of applications, including:
- automated hotel check-in
- information points in car showrooms
- visitor registration in corporate receptions and at exhibitions
- interactive learning games in schools
- quick access internet points in offices and universities
Utilising standard hardware means applications can be developed on other machines and immediately uploaded to the kiosk computer, allowing regular updates and changes in usage.
