Inside TAG Technic enclosures
TAG Technic cabinets can be fitted with a base panel for the safe storage of systems equipment such as the housing of tower servers and UPS units side by side in the serverStation. There's a gap at the back to neatly route power and data cables to and from external supplies.
Keyboard tray
A keyboard tray can be fitted inside the top of the cabinet and is capable of accommodating a standard 21" keyboard. There's no longer any need to waste money on special keyboards or rotating shelves (3U or 133mm of space is required for a keyboard tray).
Basic shelf
You can have a basic shelf, 500mm deep, with four brackets that can be fitted to the four vertical mounting slots in our aluminium extrusion. This allows fitting in any position within the cabinet.
19" rack-mounted equipment
There is a lot of equipment on the market, particularly for networking, that uses 19" rack fittings. With TAG Technic enclosures you only need to include this option in the areas where it's needed. We offer four options that will use between 20% and 100% of the internal cabinet space. It is also possible to include a mounting rail with accessory flange at the rear of the cabinet. This allows you to use standard steel shelves, cooling fans, telescopic slides and lots of other bits and pieces available from standard rack equipment manufacturers.
Mounting a rack-mounted computer
You'll probably discover that a rack-mounted PC is too deep to fit into the standard serverStation - they are normally too deep for most standard 19" racks. If you really want to use a rack-mounted PC, bearing in mind they're normally more expensive than an equivalent tower unit, then the TAG Technic serverStation+ is also 200mm deeper than the standfard model, in the event that you wish to store rack-mounted server equipment in the cabinet. The avStation is also available in '+' format, though the infoStation and netStation are not.
